Green & Global, reincarnated.
Green & Global is the company which was associated with Yardstick Marketing and Pension Matters Associates (the companies conning people out of their pensions). A quick internet search on Green & Global brings up an FCA warning notice (see below), so it’s great to see the FCA finally dealing with these people who should be banned from even riding past the Stock Exchange on a bike.
Green & Global were shoveling confused consumers into 5G Futures Pensions ( which is a pension fund marketed also by 5G Wealth Management ) and is in the process of being unraveled by our regulated colleagues at PI Trustees, now that The Pensions Regulator has made its legal arguments in the High Court.
This is a sad state of affairs, particularly for the very many consumers that Green & Global and 5G Wealth Management ripped off. But at least we’re getting somewhere.
One of our very nice clients who came to us when she found our first blog on Yardstick, kindly copies us in on all of the paperwork she receives (she should be in CID). There was one very, very worrying letter in the envelope (see below, and published with her permission).
This happened to turn up on the same day as the letter from PI Consulting, but it’s a con.
This letter is from WSW Administration Services, who are nothing to do with PI Consulting (and nothing to do with WSW Financial Services in East Sussex), signed by a Lisa Key. The letter contains a transfer of authority (page 3) which would allow them to transfer out your pension, again!
Now apart from the clear breach in data protection there is a more disturbing theme. Read the next bit carefully…………..
WSW Administration Services are suggesting that you transfer authority to act on your behalf from PI Consulting (a regulated, professional Trustee firm) to WJA Financial Services Ltd in Carlisle. WJA Financial Services is a regulated firm run by one William Armstrong. Tick in the box there, he’s regulated, well done!
But hold yer horses!!!
Before WJA, William (Bill) Armstrong was Director of Armstrong & Earl Financial services, which is in the process of being made insolvent (see below).
More worrying though, is that Mr Armstrong is still a Director of guess who? Green & Global. Have a look at the information below from Companies House:
This means that, if you sign the transfer form, you’re giving authority back to the sharks who got their hands on your pension in the first place.
So whatever you do, DO NOT SIGN IT, it’s not pukka. Make sure you deal with a reputable financial adviser, not Mr William Armstrong from WJA Financial in Carlisle. Mr Armstrong has been flagged up to the FCA as it’s clear he’s not a fit and proper person to be advising people on their pensions when he’s already tried fleecing them.
And whilst we’re on the subject of dodgy dealers, I looked at the other Directors of 5G Wealth Management and was delighted to see that a Garry John Williams, or John Garry Williams, was arrested in July 2013 along with Susan Lynn Huxley as part of a £20million pension liberation fraud investigation (apologies for the grey part of the image):
Both Williams and Huxley run Corporate Futures LLP which on the face of it is a reputable, although unregulated, employee benefits reseller. Perhaps they’ll have a police record soon, although I doubt it’ll be “Walking on the Moon”

Dave Rees helped us with a number of financial issues we had been putting off for ages. He helped us identify our main requirements and was able to give us a range of options and clearly explain the pros and cons of each. We were able to make an informed decision about the best route forward for us and if we had any queries no matter how small Dave was always easily contactable and happy to help. I recommend his services to everyone I know. Claire B
